POS - Prince Of Singa

POS (Prince Of Singa or Prince Of The Lion) basically a three levels game that tells the adventure of how Sang Nila Utama found Singapore. There will be changes to the original story to make it interesting. The main creativity and attractive part of this game is that it combines three different game genres into one.
Difficulties for developing (This may due to the time constraint of our short time period):
- Different model.
- Different map for different level.
It is a interesting game which educates foreigner an introduction about Singapore's history and most importantly, having fun with the game.

Game Overview
The prince of Palembang of the Srivijayan empire, which is Sang Nila Utama, one day decided to find an island to build his own city. He then set sail with his men to explore the islands. During the journey, they were attacked by pirates ("This is where the Battle Ship Racing Genre comes in").After the fierce battle with the pirates, Sang Nila Utama and his men decided to stop on an island to heal their injuries and at the same time to repair the broken ship.
On the island, the prince and his men decided to explore the island. During the exploration, they were ambushed and attacked by some weird monsters... this monsters looked like a lion but they could stand and move swiftly like a human. ("This is where the Action Adventure Genre comes in")
Three days later, they found a fishing village at the other end on the island. Asking the village Chief what were the hideous creatures that they faced and where they were, he was told that it was the island of Temasek.
The chief saw the visitors were holding weapons, so he request the visitors which were the prince and his men to save his daughter from the south cave of the island. So the prince agreed and they continued their journey to the south cave. At the end of the cave, they landed at the mouth of the present-day Singapore River and went inland to look for the chief's daughter. Suddenly, he saw a the chief's daughter on a huge beast with a lion head and fish body. After defeating the beast, the chief then bethrothed his daughter to the prince. He was pleased with the defeat of the beast and to have found a beautiful maiden. This as he believed it to be a good omen - a sign of good fortune coming his way. Thus, he decided to build his new city in Temasek. He and his men stayed on the island and founded a city.
He named this city "Singapura". "Singa" means lion and "pura" means city. The name thus means the Lion City. Sang Nila Utama ruled Singapura for 48 years and was buried on Bukit Larangan (present-day Fort Canning Hill).
